Gem PR & Media, the creators of Eighteen21, have teamed up with Local Frist Springfield to bring its members, and nonmembers, a 90-minute class that takes participants behind the scenes of Facebook and Instagram’s business pages.
“If social media didn’t play a major part in your marketing strategy last year it must in 2018,” said Gemma Long, Gem PR & Media CEO. “If you want to remain competitive you need to maximize your social media reach through organic and paid activity."
The show and tell class is aimed at anyone responsible for an organization’s social media and struggles to update content, needs help with boosting posts and creating ads, and doesn’t know their way around Instagram.”
$5 of the $30 class fee will be donated to local nonprofit Compass for Kids, which provides academic and social-emotional support to at-risk students of Springfield School District 186.
Two sessions are being offered, Thursday, February 1st from 7.30am and Friday, February 2 from 3.30pm at Gem PR & Media 2121 W. White Oaks Dr, Springfield, 62711. Spaces are limited to 18 per session.
You can book your place by emailing Bill McMahon at firstname.lastname@example.org by January 19th.
